As a board member of the Center for Art, Culture and History–Exeter (CACHE), I had the opportunity to work with Quin Johnson on a much larger organizational challenge than a typical home or office project.

Our facility includes multiple storage and work areas and over the years these spaces had been used by numerous staff members and volunteers, with no single person responsible for maintaining organization. As a result, supplies, materials, and equipment had accumulated in ways that made it difficult to know what we had, where things were located, or how best to use the available space.

Quin approached the project systematically and thoughtfully. She took the time to understand the purpose of each area, evaluate the contents, learn how our staff and volunteers use the spaces, and identify the challenges created by having multiple people accessing the same storage areas. She then developed practical organizational systems tailored to our specific needs and workflow.
